Climate
Singapore has a pleasant, tropical climate year round, varying from an average of 28 – 31 degrees Celsius during the day to 23 – 27 degrees Celsius in the evenings. It is not unusual to have intermittent showers on a sunny day but the showers rarely last long and they provide a cool respite. The rainy season in Singapore is from November till February. Traveling within Singapore
Singapore has put in place a highly-efficient public transit system that consists of the Mass Rapid Transit (MRT), buses and taxi services.
- To and from Changi Airport
Singapore’s Changi Airport is 30 minutes from the city centre, with a variety of means to get to and from the airport. Expect to pay between S$18 and S$38 for your journey. More information is available at the Changi Airport website. - Taking the MRT/bus
Visitors who wish to travel by MRT will have to purchase an EZ-Link Card for their trips. Payment of bus fares can be made either in cash or through the EZ-Link Card. More information on this here. - Taking a Taxi

Visa and Entry Requirements
Delegates holding travel documents issued by the following countries will require a visa to enter Singapore:
Assessment Level I Countries
Assessment Level II Countries
Visitors must also meet entry requirements such as holding a valid passport, possession of sufficient funds for the period of stay in Singapore and confirmed onward or return air tickets.

If you require a visa to enter Singapore, please approach the nearest Singapore Overseas Mission for information on visa application and submission procedures, list of documents required, application fees payable and to obtain visa application forms.
An official Letter of Invitation for obtaining a visa and authorisation to attend the event is available on request after registration and full payment have been received.
The visa application process can take up to at least two months, so it is important that you start your application as soon as possible to ensure you receive your visa in advance for travel to Singapore.
